While we had a slow start to the build because of excessive rain which made water management critical in order to create areas that we could work in, May has been a very productive month on site and we are currently casting the various slabs that form part of the basement. This will provide our residents with a safe, secure, and convenient space to park. Take a look at the progress here.
We asked our construction team for some facts on the build.
- Bulk earthworks was carried out by Icon Earthworks.
- Lateral support walls was carried out by Franki Africa and were completed on 17th February 2017.
- The main contractor on site is Group 5.
- Site was handed over to Group 5 in January 2017 with commencement of works 1st February 2017.
- To date we have cast 4800 m³ of concrete (Bases; columns; retaining walls; surface beds; slabs; lift cores)
